Bob,

Yeah - I should have qualified that "at least a one step processor upgrade
to run native Domino."
comment. It's a generalisation, but you often see people trying to install
it on their present machine, which is usually almost maxed out with it's
current workload. Isn't that how most of us run our systems ? :-)
Of course if you had a larger enough processor/memory combination and your
CPU utilisation wasn't reaching the limits you should be OK.

Neil,
You nailed it, I have a 2175 with 128MB. I had the similar thoughts about
sizing from the response Glen gave me, but I don't really understand the
batch/interactive balancing. Anyway, I think I am going to have to unload
Domino to another machine. That other machine might not be another AS/400
since I may have an RS/6000 in the wings from another division. I should
have done my research on Domino, you are the first I -heard- say "at at
least a one step processor upgrade to run native Domino."
Thanks for the info,
Bob
