Re: IP and QPADEVxxx devices...

We use the telnet exit programs which we downloaded from the IBM techstudio web
site.  You can find them at

The exit programs offer much more security since you have the option of 
accepting
or rejecting sessions based on the originating ip address.  Of course, if thats
not a need, you can just allow *.*.*.* and the whole world can connect.  Another
function allows you to log information on each telnet session which attempts to
attach to your server.  You can also assign a device name to each session in
place of the generic qpadevxxxx names ibm uses.

We implemented the programs "as is" and are very happy with the results!
