If you are running with QSYSOPR in *BREAK mode, try setting the filter on
QSYSOPR higher than 0:  CHGMSGQ QSYSOPR *BREAK SEV(01)  That way, the
informational messages won't interrupt your console - only messages you need
to respond to.

You can always press F16 to remove all messages except those that need an
answer; QHST will contain a record of what happened if you need history.

A long time ago, I remember something about OS400 not sending a message if
the text was all blank.  If you are completely desperate, you might try
changing the message text to blanks...
