Ah.  You're dealing with S/36 Environment.  The techinque of ?F'xxxx'? is
a parameter substitution technique.  I don't remember what the A attribute
is for sure, but I think it's "active number of records in file."  The
",XYINTRAP" indicates which file the A attribute relates to.
