You need not create data transfer definition for all the file. For DBF files just open the windows explorer and double click on the network neighborhood and the on entire network. Then find your AS400 and double click on that. Then find QSYS.LIB and double click on that. Then you can find the library in which your DBF files are placed and then select the files and copy to your PC folders. Same thing you can do for MDB databases.
