Check your telnet attributes (CHGTELNA) and verify your Inactivity timeout parameter. This value is the number of seconds the system allows the TELNET connection to remain inactive before ending it. We are now live on our 720 and are experiencing dropping of our Telnet sessions. This seems to happen when any session has been inactive for an hour and thirty five minutes. I have checked the system values and here are how they are set: QINACTITV = *NONE QINATMSGQ = *ENDJOB QDSCJOBITV = *NONE We are using Wall Data's Rumba for the AS/400 as the Telnet client. The sessions did not drop on our V3R1 machine. Have I missed a new system value somewhere? +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
