Client Access does not resolve addresses in the first place; this is done
by the innards of TCP/IP networking.  The registry does not store
addresses that are returned by DNS.  Therefore, if you change your AS/400
IP address, and inform the DNS of this change, then all clients who use
the symbolic name (rather than the fixed n.n.n.n address) will work just
fine.
