Hi,

Can I use a group variable in my embedded SQLCBL as host variable or not?


for ex:-

in Working storage section.

01 GROUP.
     05    XX       PIC  9(5).
     05    YY      PIC  9(2).


IN PROCEDURE DIVISION.

exec-sql
declare my-cursor  cursor for
   select * from my-table where myfield = :GROUP
end-exec.

I AM GETTING COMPILATION ERROR THAT VARIABLE "GROUP" IS UNDEFINED OR NOT USABLE.
