Jack,

For terminal access to the AS/400 we like the Mocha product. It is
stable, well-priced, and loads from a browser. Security can be an issue.
I believe IBM is now providing a Telnet proxy that offers SSL
encryption, but perhaps someone else can comment on this. We have no
relationship to Mocha.

We sell a product called Alliance Report.Web/400 that interfaces with
NSA's NT-based Report.Web product for publishing spool file reports to
the Web. This is a high-end product with security, bursting, multiple
formats, COLD archival, etc. It supports AS/400, mainframe, LAN and
other printed output. There are other vendors in this area, too,
including Gumbo, Broderick and others.

For publishing data there are *lots* of options including Net.Data,
ODBC-based solutions, CGI, Lotus Domino, etc. The folks on the
IGNITE/400 list will probaby have lots of recommendations in this area.
