Im planning on tinkering with VARPG, and want to know what VARPG can and

Subject: New 170 installation and initial setup

HELP!
I'm attempting to set up my new 170. I ordered the twinax option, with
the idea that I could just set up a terminal as the console and the rest
would be a piece of cake.
But, QSECOFR is not authorized to DSP01...apparently the box shipped
with level 40 security??
And, in trying to get the PC setup using the serial cable, I'm running
into all kinds of conflicts on my PC, not due to the 400, but because
I've already got this pc pretty well loaded up.
The question:
how do I enable qsecofr, without being able to sign on?
and, is the box already loaded completely with os400?

your help is appreciated...
