I already told you more than I know. Sorry.

But where I saw it used was at the annual New England User Group
Conference in March in Framingham, Massachusetts. One of the speakers, an
Ibmer, was using his laptop for the presentation and he had it hooked in
to an AS/400 in one of Ibm's offices. We were more interested in his
hook-up than in his presentation. He had a card with a new number
generated every minute that matched a new number generated by the AS/400
every minute. His laptop had to be synched with the AS/400 for time or
it wouldn't work. He had a window of the same minute, the minute before,
or the minute after. A unique number had a three minute life cycle.

The cards were disposable. He felt the solution was reasonably priced but
that is a meaningless term in IBM-speak.
