A medical industry customer has developed an internet enabled application which they are afraid of Security, as they should be, especially in their application. The 'logon' to the AS/400 is already accomplished, but the USRPRF and PASSWORD is not enough. They want some kind of digital certificate ID card or possibly a PIN generated hand-held device, or course to be in possession of the user. Their application is Web enabled via a Seagull GUI/400 based Java solution. I have not contacted Seagull as of yet. As I didn't have any impact on the GUI/400 project, I am coming at this blind-sided. Does anyone have any input as to possible AS/400 products and/or solutions otherwise?
