I too, like the AS/400 a lot.  But I think you're missing the point here.  
It is about the changing technology and our ability to adapt, instead of 
promoting our turf.

Speaking of logs and measurings...  has anyone ever done a study of worker
bees to support bees?  How many people does it take to support 200 AS/400
worker seats vs. 200 any-other-OS worker seats?
