  • Subject: Nubmers installed and other hot AS/400 topic's (Was: Number of installed AS/400s)
  • From: "Henrik Krebs" <hkrebs@xxxxxxxxx>

I'm going to participate in a round-table-talk with Frank Soltis on
Tuesday. I'll ask him for the number of Shipped/installed and a guess
about the number of operating ones.

Also about the schism between AS="APPLICATION system" and AS="advanced
SERVER". Remember (I think is was Mel Bechman) a few years ago
speculating about all this file server stuff: A mean of smuggeling an
as/400 into a shop as a server hoping that sombody will discover it as
beeing a fantastic application system.

But - here is my question: Which other subjects are the most interesting?
