Well.... maybe.   If the NetSoft advocate is basing this claim on the fact that
you buy a version of NetSoft that doesn't include file upload ability,  then
maybe.   You can also choose not to load partsof Client Access.  But neither one
of those approaches really offers much security, anyone can walk up to any PC 
and
load their favorite connectivity package.  You really have to enforce your
security from the AS/400 side.

I've heard this story before.   We offer a top of the line, yet reasonably
priced, exit point package called PowerLock that was built specifically to close
