APPN again



I got many answers to my APPN question, but still cannot make it work. The
problem is: the controllers do not switch to VARY ON, only VARY ON PENDING.
To check te link I went to the Network Problem Handling menu (GO NETPRB)
and made a link test (option 3). I've  selected the line ETHLINE and tested
with the APPN controller (KURUZSLO from MOOMPS and MOOMPS from kuruzslo).
The test went fine, no problems occurred.
To sumamrize:
1. I have line descriptions set up correctly (TCP/IP is OK, link test is
OK)
2. I  have APPC devices (APPN capable) that match the network attributes of
the other side, but that do not vary on.
3. Why? Why? Why?
4. Can anybody help me?
