- Enable anynet in the network atributes. - Create the appc controller with *ANYNW type, and all the remote AS/400 systems will appear as a device under this controller. - Create a configuration list (WRKCFGL). The parameter for remote control point have to match in the appc controller and the configuration list. This means that in both systems you have to especify the same values. - Configure the distribution services. - In CFGTCP create the alias of remote AS/400 with two names: xxxxxxx.appn.sna.ibm.com and xxxxxxx (where xxxxxxx is the name of the remote as/400 especified in the CFGTCP) - start subsystem qsnads. I did this a long time ago, so I hope everything is correct. For my own experience I've found that it is greate to run SNA commands under a TCP/IP network. ---------- > De: benji@intercomputer.hu > A: Midrange-l@midrange.com > Asunto: Q: APPN config > Fecha: miércoles 12 de mayo de 1999 14:14 > > > > I have a very simple question: what configuration steps are needed to > setting up APPN between two AS/400s in a LAN environment (Ethernet)?
