Pat,

Your example simply retrieves the name of the current library. This is a an
optional library in your library list. For most purposes it defaults to
QGPL, which is why Henrik asked that question. However, if there is no
current library in your library list the RTVJOBA would pick up the value
*NONE. I suspect you tested the program in your current library, which is
why it returned the correct result but for the wrong reason. To see what's
going on try moving it to another library in your library list and running
it again. Then try moving it to a library outside your library list and run
it by naming the library explicitly in the CALL command. Lastly try the
command CHGCURLIB *CRTDFT and call the program one more time.
