I -think- that V.25 relates to the dial instructions (like the AT command set), and not the async/SDLC part. If the two USRs are connected to AS/400s and configured as SDLC, I'd be interested in knowing how that's possible. Brendan Bispham ~ Yes ! It is possible to configure USR Courier as a synchronous modem (V25 ~ bis). ~ We do that a lot of time between two USR Courier with leased ~ lines. It works ~ very well ! ~ But ! we can't do the same with a dial-up phone line. ~ ~ Any more suggestion ? ~ ~ Eric Panissard ~ Informatique de Tahiti +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
