RE: Dial-up phone line and USR Courier (next) -- MIDRANGE-L

× The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.

I -think- that V.25 relates to the dial instructions (like the AT command
set), and not the async/SDLC part.

If the two USRs are connected to AS/400s and configured as SDLC, I'd be
interested in knowing how that's possible.

~ Yes ! It is possible to configure USR Courier as a synchronous modem (V25
~ bis).
~ We do that a lot of time between two USR Courier with leased
~ lines. It works
~ very well !
~ But ! we can't do the same with a dial-up phone line.
