Ken, The corrupted IFS file would have nothing to do with the Telnet server. Go look at the joblog the QTGTELNETS job using WRKJOB QTGTELNETS. There should be an indication of why the server job ended. On thought might be. Are you running anything on port 23 that the telnet server uses? Richard G. Our AS/400 had a corrupted file out in the IFS and had to be deleted. If I remember correctly, an entire directory was renamed and STRTCP built a new one. I do remember that the OS/400 versions may each have a different folder path and name. I hope this helps, as it's all I gots.
