>> Does anyone know of a problem with RPG code losing it's connection with the events on the VARPG screen? The most common cause of this is that you renamed a part (probably the window) _after_ having coded the events. I have seen one instance a couple of years ago when it did it by itself, but most of the time it's my fault <bg> To re-link go to Project/Edit Action Subroutines - this brings up a neat little browser that lets you select a window/part/event and then select the action routine to go with it. You can then forge a link by pressing the create link button. You can also break existing links here, link one piece of code to multiple events, etc. It's also useful for creating a link to a common routine that puts up an error box saying "sorry this function not yet available" or something. Very useful when releasing an early version to end users for testing. +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
