Hi Jeff, > 1) Anyone have any experience with these? Are they reliable? We have been using 2 of them for years with very few problems. > 2) Can you switch between the 3 paper paths easily? Does each path feed > reliably? Just use the proper drawer number when the spool file is generated, then answer the forms change message, it does the rest. I recommend getting the printer stand with it. (If I recall right, it was a separte item.) > 3) Does the document on demand feature work well? Can sheets be torn > off easily without screwing up (that's a technical term :) ) top of form > or side to side alignment? We have not had any problems with this. > 4) Will it feed 3-up pressure sensitive labels OK? Multi part forms? In the past, we had used 1-up labels. I don't remember if there was any signifcant problems with them. We are printing 5 part forms with no problems. > 5) What was the warranty? Who do you contract maintenance with on these > printers and who performs the actual service? We've had ours so long, I can't remember what the warranty was. (Gee, I'm getting a complex here with what I can't remember!) DecisionOne handles all our AS/400 maintenance - computer, terminals, printers including the PrinTeks. > 6) What does it configure as on the AS/400? 4214. These things have worked out great for us.
