Ken - which of the two Visual RPG products are you using ? The Asna product (ASNA Visual RPG) requires a run-time license for each PC for the Datagate software that allows it to access the AS/400 database. I don't believe it requires Client Access on the PC but I'm not sure. The IBM product (VisualAge for RPG) provides a free-of-charge connection to the AS/400 over SNA or TCP/IP.
