Backup and Recovery -- MIDRANGE-L

Anyone got any suggestions for Backup and Recovery software.  Currently, we
have a home
grown application that is slowly becoming trouble.  At one point we were
looking at BRMS.
If anyone has any praise or compaints about BRMS or other software please
reply.




We use Librarian from PAE. I have tried ROBOT/SAVE and a couple of others,
I found ROBOT/SAVE a bit on the complicated side. As far as I am concerned
Librarian is the best at the moment. Haven't tried BRMS tho'.
It has a few similar features to the ROBOT product, but for ease of use I
think that Librarian beats it!
Peter O'Connor who also subcribes/contributes to this list is the person to
contact. I'm sure Peter will reply to this with his details, as I only know
the contact details for the local supplier here in South Africa.
