I have successfully copied spool files into an MVS dataset, then used LPR to send that dataset to an AS/400 OUTQ. >From an ISPF command line: LPR 'mvs.dataset.name' (host xxxxxxx printer yyyyyyy where xxxxxxx is the IP address (or name?) of the AS/400 and yyyyyyy is the AS/400 OUTQ. You can add the TRACE operand to see the details of what happens. You may need to experiment with the CC (carriage control), BINARY, and FILTER operands to get everything correct. Since this will send a dataset as a spool file, hopefully that isn't too far away from sending a spool file as a spool file.
