We have done several barcode implementations with Techlogix RF equipment.
Basically they have a controller that connects to the AS400 via Ethernet,
V.24 or V.35 and then the controller connects to a transmitter.  You write
code as if it were a 5250 device and voila, the terminals look like 5250
devices.  It is really pretty slick.
