To gather the space used info SBMJOB of RTVDSKINF.  Long running task.  To read 
it use PRTDSKINF *SYS.  And look for user directories.

To save it
SAV        DEV('/QSYS.LIB/TAP03.DEVD') OBJ(('/*') +       
             ('/QSYS.LIB' *OMIT) /* Saved with SAVLIB */ +
             ('/QDLS' *OMIT)     /* Saved with SAVDLO */ +
            OUTPUT(*PRINT)
MONMSG     MSGID(CPFA0A9 CPA0701 CPF3837)

How can I see how much disk space is being used by the folders on the IFS?

How would I backup and restore this space (or selected directories)?
