do you have an ethernet line?  if so, you can get a remote access
server, and attach it to the lan.  the ascII controller will work with
terminal emulation (ie hyperterminal), but it's gross.  i think you can
use client access with it, but you have to go thru netsoft router, and
that's also gross.

depending on your release level, you can also configure a comm line for
remote access.  there are some examples on how to do this in the
archives, abd in dejanews.
