We have had problems with some printouts on HP printers and solved
most but not all. I was able to fix most problems adding to  the pcswin.ini
on the box driving the print session:
[PRINTERS]
BESTFIT=YES

i have an HP 6L hooked thru client access, v3r1m3, and have had no
problems.
