Hi, Eric: From: Eric Panissard <EPanissard@idt.pf> Date: Monday, April 12, 1999 10:26 PM >On a Win95 PC with Client Access and 5250 emulation : >we use, in a CL program, the command "STRPCCMD" to execute an ".EXE" program >(written in C language). >Each time we use "STRPCCMD" a non required DOS window appears. >Is anybody knows a way to non display (or reduce ?) this window ? >Is there an other and best way to execute a DOS command in full transparency >for users? In order to prevent the DOS window from appearing, the program has to be written to the Windows API, even if you have no screen/print output. When you create a Windows program, the program initialization is completely different, and the DOS window is avoided.
