Re[2]: Using BACKSPACE as a function key?

     I can't seem to locate any information on "text assist", but I do 
     remember hearing of such a feature... I think we had problems using 
     OV400 at a remote location because the remote controller had to be 
     upgraded to support this workstation management feature. But for 
     the life of me I can't recall what they called this feature. I even 
     seem to recall seeing an article (many years ago) in one of the 
     magazines about using this feature. It's possible I'm remembering 
     something S36 related.........
     
     Anyone remember this stuff any better than I?

Eric,

This is a real stretch, but I believe there was a "text assist" option
on the WS controller for those using office products on NPT.

But, my first guess is that once in use, you'll have to handle -every-
keystroke.
