Do what? Training budget? I'm sure we have one (even if just for the PC programmers to learn the newest ways to crash their machines<g>), but I for one have NEVER received formal (or structured) training or education. We (the company, not the IS dept) have a training department to handle new-hires and retraining of staff, but again, nothing for us AS400 folk. I'm not even certain I'll be able to talk my manager into letting me go to Common, even though it'll only be about three hour drive this fall. Yes, this is a sore spot with me. I'd sort of like the novelty of not having to figure EVERYTHING out for myself....... I don't ever even get to see the MC or NEWS/400 anymore. Well, I was just going on the suggested topic. If enough folks cast a vote for 500+, then I'll repost the poll using higher numbers. david +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +--- +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
