Still seems like cheating to me. And also not unique to CL. I just wrote a CMD file on OS/2, NULL.CMD, that's 0 bytes long. When I run the command with "NULL >NULL2.CMD", it creates a 0 byte long file that's identical to it. NULL2 can then be run as is and create another null command. Will your null CL program actually create another CL source member that could then be compiled and run? Cheers!
