I've used environment variables for one application - Domino. There were programs on NT, (like UPDALL and NCOMPACT) that you really have to jump through hoops to run on the 400. You start using commands like ADDENVVAR. I won't profess to have knowledge on ALWMLTTHD. dah6696@Goulds1.com on 04/06/99 04:36:04 PM Please respond to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com@Internet To: midrange-l@midrange.com@Internet cc: Subject: SBMJOB Parms I just noticed that on v4r3 the SBMJOB command has two new parms. The CL Ref. manual is no more help than the HELP key. Can anyone explain CPYENVVAR and ALWMLTTHD? >From the manual: CPYENVVAR Specifies whether the environment variables from the submitting job are copied to the new job. *NO: The environment variables are not copied. *YES: The environment variables are copied. ALWMLTTHD Specifies whether or not the job is allowed to run with multiple threads. This attribute is not allowed to be changed after the job is submitted. --- Douglas Hart Sr. Consulting Technical Analyst mailto:dah6696@goulds1.com +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +--- +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
