It's been so long, but it seems to me you didn't need line 3. File update is part of the cycle on UP isn't it? I love doing this with small one time use programs. It's fun trying to see how few lines of code I can get by with. One time I had a three line program. One F spec for the primary file opened for update, a C spec to plug a value into a field, and a C spec for the update. Does anyone remember the old game show "Name That Tune"?
