Ah, the old "dangerous knowledge" fallacy. What next, public burning of
RPG/II manuals?

Wouldn't you even spend a few million microseconds telling your students,
"By the way, don't be confused by the many references in the manual to 'the
cycle'. This is just an arcane thing the language is built on, but it's
better for you not to know about it. In fact I'd rather you didn't even
look at that chapter. It's detrimental to your profession." Or do you just
pretend it doesn't exist?

I'm reminded of a wonderful John Wayne line, but I can't remember which
film (remind me someone). A grizzled old cowboy has been told by the female
lead to: "Keep a civil tongue in your unprepossessing face."

After silently contemplating for half a reel he asks Big John (who did not
witness the insult): "What does unprepossessing mean?"

The Duke drawls: "It's better you don't know."
