Date simulators are  very effective tools in both  second system  and  sole
system testing. They allow  for  each user/tester to use different dates
concurrently.  Thus making each testing  cycle  more productive.

In the  final tests and acceptance tests  a purest would  want to use the
true systems date environmen -for  safety sake and proof positive.
