Perle 3i and Failing Devices -- MIDRANGE-L

Anybody out there with a Perle 3I running on a 7xx box (or maybe V4R3 on
another box)?  I have one that since upgrading from a 310 will work only once
and then the twinax devices fail when the modem hangs up.  Varying them off and
back on allows it to work once more. This device is on the same 6050 controller
it was on on the 310.

 Perle has no clue.

 Help!
