Maybe somebody knowing ALL standard Java Classes can supply the details before that. ---------- Fra: Bruce Odum <bodum@magicnet.net> Til: MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com Emne: AS/400 & Native Zip Eng Dato: 20. marts 1999 04:58 When do you thing IBM will supply a native zip engine that will allow the ability to compress files on the IFS in zip format. This is a needed component when trying to give file data to customers accessing information from the web server. I cannot believe they have not ported this capability yet. It would be nice to send report data from regular programs to the ifs and zip it with CL commands. +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
