Hello all, I am currently working on a project where i am trying to use the AS/400 OLE DB support. What i am trying to do is write a microsoft access97 module to exctract data from the AS/400 and put it in an access data base and also the other way around (extract access data and write it to an AS/400 file). I followed the example in the red book "A fast path to AS/400 client/server using AS/400 OLE DB support". When the module get activated, i get an error stating that the ADODB.Connection object type is not a valid type. I have installed the SDK but no luck. I think that something must be missing or not configured corretly on my pc (win95). Does anyone out there do something like this? What is required on the PC? BTW I called IBM for support on this, and i was told that this is not coverd by software maintenance and that i would get billed for any helpthat i would received!
