We do not have the source to put >a monmsg in their software, so I need to check before I >send it there. Is there a way to check for a spoolfile? Angie, This is fairly crude, but it ought to work as long as the job doesn't execute the program multiple times in a loop. After the program completes issue a CHGSPLFA for the spooled file and monitor for CPF3303. If you get this escape message the file was not created.
