Yes, LANSA is a 4GL that generates green screen, client/server, html, and
just about anything else you would like short of a de-cafe lotte.

It is debatably the best available product in the marketplace.  The first
product to this marketplace (in any numbers) was Synon, now Cool.  (A name
change that was probably a bigger marketing flub that the new-Coke/Coke
Classic.)  I however have a customer that is now using the Synon/Cool
product and is apparently having (non-trivial) problems.

We seriously looked at LANSA as a product to sell last year, and decided
that although the product looked technically superior, however there were
other (internal) business reasons that prevented us from expending that
rapidly.
