It is debatably the best available product in the marketplace. The first product to this marketplace (in any numbers) was Synon, now Cool. (A name change that was probably a bigger marketing flub that the new-Coke/Coke Classic.) I however have a customer that is now using the Synon/Cool product and is apparently having (non-trivial) problems. We seriously looked at LANSA as a product to sell last year, and decided that although the product looked technically superior, however there were other (internal) business reasons that prevented us from expending that rapidly.
