we use the ibm 8235 remote access server, which was discontinued last summer.
however, it was made by shiva, so we are now installing the shiva product, the
shiva lanrover e/plus.  it is a really reliable unit, that attaches to your lan,
and allows dial up access.   it's not terribly expensive, about $1600 for the
unit, and $200 per modem (V.90's).  the modems are internal, so there aren't any
plugs and cords.  a really neat solution.

shiva also has cheaper units, that use the traditional external modems.
