OK, that's true.  I didn't understand the full scope of what you wanted.  In
that case, check out "the other" API for this purpose: QCAPCMD, which will
allow you to retrieve error information and act on it in a programatic
fashion.  This is the API that I usually use within all my HLL programs, and
it's very flexible.  :^)
