I am not a PC person so I don't know if I did what you said. I created an excel spreadsheet of the file and put it on our mapped network drive. I tried to send it using CPYFRMPCD put it tells me it cannot find document key.xls (the name of my spreadsheet). Was I suppose to do something else? You talk about using macros, and letting excel create the AS400 file so I'm assuming I am missing alot since all I did was put the info into a spreadsheet. Please help! Thanks >Let Excel create the AS/400 file for you via the shared folders, then >use the CPYFRMPCD command to copy the data into any native physical file >you want. The macro capabilities of Excel are all you need to write to a >mapped network drive on the AS/400.
