ILE RPG/COBOL

I have a programmer working on Y2K issues and is concerned that we need to
be changing these programs to ILE also.  We use both RPG and COBOL

Is this a valid concern or is this just adding another project on top of an
existing one?  When is IBM dropping support on non-ile compilers?
