Here are a couple more things to try to solve your problem. First of all, are any of the cables short? As in less than 3 or 4 feet long? If so, these cables could be causing the problem. Try replacing them with longer ones and see if your problem goes away. Second, you mentioned you put the printer on port 7, but did you try moving the entire chain to port 7? This would tell you if you have a bad port or not. Hope this helps. Good luck!
