How was the save performed? What commands were used, RST RSTAUT RSTCFG RSTDLO RSTLIB RSTLICPGM RSTOBJ Should wipe out everything, if SAVSTR was used, you have to IPL, then use DST, option 9 to restore the storage. ____________________Reply Separator____________________ Subject: Restore system Author: "Leland; David" [SMTP:dleland@Harter.com] Date: 2/24/99 8:56 AM I need some rather immediate advice. We just installed a CUM PTF tape this weekend and now we have a program that won't run. We think it's because of the CUM tape but IBM doesn't. Against IBM's advice, I'd like to restore the operating system from a system backup I did just prior to installing the CUM PTF tape. Could someone give me instructions on how to do this? I'd appreciate an e-mail or direct call if possible. Because this is against IBM's advice, they won't help me except through ConsultLine and $$$$. The program that's bombing is an embedded SQL ILERPG program and it's a part of our MRP run, so it's critical we get this working again. Thanks, Dave Leland dleland@harter.com 219-825-5817 x 2278 +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +--- +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
