  • Subject: TCP/IP printing problem?
  • From: Roger Boucher <RBoucher@xxxxxxxxxxx>

I thought I'd post this issue to the list. It came up on JDEList and a
few responses indicated that others are having this problem as well...
but no solutions as of yet. Also, it is not restricted to World Writer
reports... Anyone have any insight?? Thanks for any help.

ORIGINAL POST:
We have Jde World Software release 7.2 , system OS/400 V4R2M0.
We print over TCP/IP using print severs (HP Jet Direct) acting as LPD
servers. When we are printing some World Writer reports sometimes the
output
and ALL following printouts (in the same output queue) are set on hold.
Using 6 (release) doesnt'n help. We have to delete the printer's writer,

start a new one and then release all held printouts. Does anybody know
how
to solve this problem?
