This might explain a problem we're having with ODBC doing a SELECT with a correlated subquery. The results that come back are cumulative, i.e. the statement SELECT SUM() returns 10 the first pass, 10 the second pass, 20 the third pass, 30 the fourth, and so on. The same statement runs perfectly each time in interactive SQL, though...
